Environmental Management

Aygaz conducts all of its operations in accordance with the principle of sustainability and believes that social and industrial development should progress without harming human health and the environment or wasting natural resources and for this reason, continues to invest in technology and innovation.

Aygaz launched the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) in 2002. Since 2007, the company has implemented this system in 13 areas, 12 of which are facilities.

As a result of the 2022 greenhouse gas emissions verification process, Scope 1 (Direct) greenhouse gas emissions, which were confirmed as 6,599 tCO2e in 2021, decreased by 4% to 6,328 tCO2e in 2022. Scope 2 emissions, known as greenhouse gas emissions from purchased electricity, decreased from 8,971 tCO2e to 8722 tCO2e, showing a decline of 2.8%.
